I’ve been with Kingdom Removals for 4 years and like all the team, I love it. We are a family and in Richard’s case, the Logistics Manager, he is my brother-in-law, so real family! I really like meeting people from all walks of life and each day is different.

The job has given me the confidence to speak to people and developed my people skills. Craig, the Managing Director, is not just a boss, he’s a real friend and I’m lucky to have such a good job.

I’ve been working for Kingdom Removals for 3 years and really enjoy it. I particularly enjoy travelling anywhere in the United Kingdom, so I see lots of different places. For me the most important part of the job is helping people, especially when they are going through a stressful situation. We all care about making sure our customers get the best possible experience.

I’ve learnt so much working for Kingdom Removals for example how to dismantle and reassemble furniture, solve technical problems and how to talk to customers to ensure they feel comfortable about strangers being in their home.

I started Kingdom Removals in 2014 having worked for various removals companies and felt that I needed to set up a company which would be the best removals company in Scotland. My goal is to look after my staff and employ people who can be nurtured into providing the best removal experience for all our customers. Our reviews show that our customers are delighted with the service we provide, which makes me happy.

Richard Branson said “Look after your staff and your staff will look after your customers” that is my philosophy too.

Operations Manager

I’ve been with Kingdom Removals for 9 years and I stay because I really enjoy it. As Operations Manager I make sure that the actual removal runs like clockwork. I let the customer know our estimated time of arrival, and, if there are traffic holdups, I keep the customer informed. I solve any problems as they arise to ensure the customer gets the best possible experience.

Kingdom Removals is the best removals company because we care, all of us. We go the extra mile for every customer, if we can’t do it nobody can.

Logistics Manager

I’ve worked for Kingdom Removals since 2015 and it’s the best job I’ve ever had. As Logistics Manager I need to work out the volume of belongings which need to be moved, distances between removals and the number of staff we need to ensure the removal goes efficiently and safely.

The thing I like most about working for Kingdom Removals is the camaraderie, we are like one happy family. Because we work so well together we take the stress out of the removal for the customer, they can see how relaxed we are, which in turn makes them relaxed.

I’ve had a great deal of experience of working in removals and van deliveries. I’ve worked for a number of companies, but I can honestly say that working for Kingdom Removals is the best company I’ve worked for because of the fun we have. Although we have fun, we take the work very seriously. We all enjoy working together which makes getting the job done so much easier. My task is to ensure the customer gets the best service ever, and that’s what we all do.

Craig, the Managing Director, is my dad and when I was a young teenager, we used to go to the gym together. So I’ve always worked out and kept myself fit. Working as a Removals Operative keeps me fit but more importantly gives me an opportunity to support my dad and the team to ensure that Kingdom Removals is the best removals company ever!
We all have a laugh and a joke but we are serious when it comes to providing a great service to our customers.

I’ve developed my people skills and learnt how to be patient when a customer might be stressing out. As other members of the team have said we are a family and in my case it is a literal family.
